Job Description

Job Summary

The Office of Sustainable Campus (OSC) is seeking a motivated and creative Student Assistant to support the management of the OSC website and digital communications. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining the OSC WordPress website, regularly updating social media platforms, and creating engaging content to promote AIT's sustainability initiatives and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the AIT Sustainability website using the WordPress platform.
  • Publish news articles, event announcements, success stories, and sustainability updates on the website.
  • Manage and regularly update OSC social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other official channels).
  • Create simple graphics, posters, reels, and short videos for social media campaigns.
  • Take photographs and videos during sustainability events and activities.
  • Ensure website and social media content is accurate, current, and visually appealing.
  • Assist in preparing digital newsletters and promotional materials.
  • Monitor website and social media engagement and recommend improvements.
  • Support other communication and outreach activities assigned by the Office.

Qualification

Qualifications

  • Current AIT student in good academic standing for 2 semesters or more.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.00/4.00.
  • Experience using WordPress for website management.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management.
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Basic photo and video editing skills are desirable.
  • Good written and spoken English.
