Job Description

Student Associate

 

AIT Extension is looking for a Student Associate for one of its ongoing projects. Interested Candidates with a matching background are encouraged to apply for this position.

Job Descriptions:

AIT Extension (AITE), the executive education & professional services arm of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), is implementing an International Exposure Visit Program for students of the University of Management & Technology (UMT), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 17-23 August 2026.

The primary tasks for the Student Assistant/Associate will be to support the Program Director and Program Coordinator of AITE in ensuring the effective implementation of the program.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Coordinator in planning and implementing tasks under the professional training program.
  • Coordinate with resource people for collating and sharing the course materials.
  • Assist in developing and helping the resource persons with the training slides and training materials.
  • Assist in the evaluation of the participants by the resource persons.
  • Assist in conducting the course evaluation by the training participants.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the program completion report.
  • Guide the participants to follow the norms of the training program.
  • Guide and support training participants to follow the training schedule. 

 

Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree/PhD degree in the field of Computer Science and Communication Technology (CSCT), Artificial Intelligence of Things and Signal Processing (AIoT), Computer Science and Communication Technology (CSCT), Data Science and AI (DSAI), and Digital Technology and Enterprise Information Management (DTEIM).
  • Ability to work as a team member with colleagues with diverse international backgrounds and willingness to learn from others and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training and teaching is an advantage
  • Responsive to culture and religious differences
