Job Description

Our team applies advanced technologies, including numerical modeling and artificial
intelligence, to address water-related challenges. Our goal is to improve the
monitoring and accuracy of hydrological data in Thailand. We are seeking
enthusiastic student assistants with experience or interest in hydrological modeling,
remote sensing, or artificial intelligence to support our project.

Project Scope
Soil moisture plays a critical role in weather and climate forecasting systems.
However, current modeling approaches often lack reliable, integrated observational
data, limiting their accuracy. This project aims to improve soil parameterization in
models by incorporating observational data to enhance model performance and
predictive capability.

Qualification

Qualifications
 Background in hydrology, computer science, remote sensing, artificial
intelligence, or a related field
 Familiarity with, or strong interest in learning about, hydrology and climate
modeling systems
 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
 Proficiency in Thai is an advantage
Responsibilities
 Install and configure modeling software (Linux), and perform benchmark
simulations
 Integrate ground-based observations to improve model performance
 Prepare technical reports and documentation
 Present progress in weekly project meetings
