Job Description

1. Presentation Development: Design and prepare visually engaging slide decks to present project activities, research findings, and event highlights in alignment with the AI Center’s communication goals. 

2. Document Design and Layout: Support the preparation and formatting of communication materials such as brochures, reports, factsheets, and event flyers using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe. 

3. Research Translation: Work with project teams to transform technical content and research outputs into accessible and audience-friendly language for communication products. 

4. Content Collection: Assist in collecting and organizing project visuals, quotes, testimonials, and key highlights from events, workshops, or field visits. 

5. Branding and Template Management: Maintain consistency in visual identity across all communication outputs and update communication templates and assets as needed. 

6. Event Support: Prepare communication materials for workshops, training, or meetings, including banners, slides, and participant packages. 

7. Digital Archiving: Help organize and archive communication files, past presentations, and project documentation for easy access and reference.

Qualification

➔ Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in any relevant field 

➔ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences 

➔ Proficiency in presentation and design tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign) 

➔ Good understanding of layout and formatting principles for communication materials such as reports, brochures, and flyers 

➔ Interest in research communication, knowledge dissemination, or storytelling in the context of AI, sustainability, and development. 

➔ Ability to translate technical or research content into clear, engaging formats 

➔ Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual aesthetics 

➔ Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision 

➔ Experience with content writing, blogging, or visual communication is an advantage 

➔ A collaborative attitude and willingness to work with interdisciplinary teams

➔ Responsible for additional assigned tasks, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
