Job Description

Student Assistant/Associate

 

AIT Extension is looking for one (1) master’s Student Assistant/Associate for one of its ongoing projects. Interested Candidates with matching background are encouraged to apply for this position.

 

Job Descriptions:

 

AIT Extension (AITE), the executive education & professional services arm of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is implementing several projects for professional development training program for its clients.

 

The primary tasks for the Student Assistant /Associate will be to support Senior Program officer of AITE in ensuring effective program implementation.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist Program Coordinator in implementing tasks under the professional development certificate program.
  • Coordinate with resource person for collating and sharing the course materials.
  • Coordinate with the admin team to ensure daily training activities well in advance.
  • Prepare the training completion report as guided by the project director and/or program coordinator.
  • Assist in conducting course evaluation and maintaining daily attendance by the participants.
  • Guide the participants to follow the norms of the program.
  • Guide and support training participants to follow the program schedule. 
  • Assist program coordinator for any other tasks relevant to the project implementation. 

Qualification

  • Having a bachelor’s degree and currently pursuing master’s degree
  • Ability to work as a team member with colleagues with diverse international background and willingness to learn from others and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Good command of written and spoken English for desired interpretation during the course work and study visits.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsive to culture and religious differences
  • Having a background in Engineering & relevant professional experience will be given preference.
